Traveler’s Table is seeking a professional, knowledgeable Bartender to join our front-of-house team in Fort Thomas, Kentucky. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hospitality, takes pride in beverage service, and can balance attentive bar guests with the demands of preparing drinks for the dining room.

Traveler’s Table is a food- and wine-focused neighborhood restaurant with a beverage program built around wines, cocktails, spirits, beer, and drinking traditions from around the world. Bartenders are an important part of both the guest experience at the bar and the overall flow of service throughout the restaurant.

Responsibilities

• Provide warm, attentive, and well-paced service to guests seated at the bar

• Prepare cocktails consistently and accurately according to restaurant recipes and standards

• Serve wine, beer, spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages with accuracy and care

• Guide guests through the food and beverage menus and offer thoughtful recommendations

• Prepare beverage orders for dining-room service efficiently and accurately

• Manage bar guests and service tickets while maintaining awareness of overall service flow

• Maintain a clean, organized, stocked, and service-ready bar

• Follow responsible alcohol-service and beverage-control procedures

• Communicate clearly with front-of-house leadership, servers, and the kitchen team

• Process payments accurately and responsibly

• Assist with opening, closing, stocking, and other bar responsibilities

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred

• Working knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits

• Strong communication skills and a genuine, guest-focused approach

• Interest in food, wine, cocktails, spirits, and hospitality

• Ability to learn recipes, beverage offerings, menu ingredients, and preparation methods

• Ability to work efficiently while managing multiple priorities

• Ability to stay organized, calm, and attentive under pressure

• Team-oriented, reliable, and professional

Schedule and Compensation

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time
Pay: Hourly base plus tips
